On April 7th, 2015 the KG - Grade 2 students participated in our Annual PLAY DAY! We here at ICS feel it is important to remind kids to play and be active! The students were in mixed teams KG-Grade 2 and they participated in 10 different events. Hole in the Cup Relay, Bean Bag Freeze, Parachute, Drip Drip Drop (like Duck Duck Goose but with a wet sponge), Lemon on a spoon relay, Pull the Scarf, Target Throw, King Pin, Leave your Spot, and Cup Stacking. Each event gave the students opportunities to practice skills such as running, jumping, agility, hand-eye coordination, strategy, cooperation, sportsmanship, and teamwork! All while still playing and having fun! The kids really enjoyed themselves and got plenty of exercise!
